Chilblains?
I'm not completely clear on what chilblains are, and google hasn't been as helpful as I'd hope. Here's the thing though: it's cold as hell in my apartment, and, of course, my extremities are chilly. My left hand is cool, but normal; my right hand is quite red and a little swollen. In the shower, my left hand can take warm water, and it's all normal and good, but any degree of warm water on my right hand is painful and causes swelling (or at least the feeling of swelling).
What is this? Is this a problem I should worry about? Or is it just a normal reaction to cold that I should ignore?
