Clothing
I bought clothes! I haven't bought clothes in a long time, but I figured I could use a few new things, what with fall and winter coming. Didn't need a lot though -- don't need pants at all, which is a really weird situation, as like, ever since high school I've had something like 3 pairs of pants, and was always on the verge of pantslessness. I remember the first week of my 4th year of university all three pairs either busted seams or zippers or had something else happen all in the same week and it was terrible. I had to squeeze myself into an old pair that didn't fit anymore and try to get to the Big and Tall store at Yorkdale without busting out.
These days, I have like, 7, 8 pairs of pants, more if you count dress-y pants that I don't wear often. It's awesome. And mundane, and not what I wanted to tell you about.
Among my purchases, I got two shirts. One looked kinda nice on the internet, with like, some random saying about blooming flowers and the hearts of people written in Japanese on the front with a print of an old man at the bottom and cherry blossoms. I thought the blossoms were also printed, but they're actually embroidered, so it's even nicer... and harder to take care of D:
But the best shirt I got was definitely my Despotism shirt by Armée Française. On the front, it says "Revolution", then in bigger letters: DESPOTISM.
Down the left arm it says "Liberating". On the back, there's giant loopy rainbow letters.
It's great! It fits well (though the neck is a little big, and now I need some sort of neckwear D:), and come on, how can you argue with DESPOTISM??
The crowning point of this delightful shirt, however, has to be the tag. Normally I give the tags a cursory glance for any English care instructions (rare, but sometimes available), and then toss, but the Engrish on this tag is prime, man.

6: IT WAS FORTUNE THAT WE MET AT THE TIME.
7: IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GET, YOU WHOULD ALSO DO LOSE OTHER THINGS.
Never have I been so moved by the depth of thought coming from a clothing tag. ┐(´д｀)┌
