Why is every song on Utada Hikaru's "Exodus" album so fucking weird? Seriously, every song is bizarre. They're all like, "Hi, I'm Japanese, but I can speak and write English, so here's some stuff I wrote that really makes no sense, but listen to how flawlessly I can say it. Additionally, please enjoy my veiled sex references and sex noises."
"The Workout"? "You make me want to be a man"? Oh give me a break. The most normal song is "Exodus '04", and it's still weird.

I took more food pictures. I arrived at the bakery this morning just as their bread goods were coming out of the oven. I am weak to delicious bread with cheese. :(

okay! An assortment of things that bear little relation to one another.
My internet? It's still slow, but it's more stable (no connection resets thrice an hour). My TV-through-DSL? Fixed! It works even better than it did before it broke, I think. It used to cut out at least twice an hour, and always during the climax of the program. It hasn't done that at all today (though I may be jinxing myself).
My new modem will come tomorrow or the next day, so we'll see if that makes stuff faster.
My new V6 album should arrive later this week; had I ordered through Amazon as I usually do, it would have arrived today. That'll learn me.
My Joe Inoue album will arrive next week, I think.

While talking about re-entry permits at our regional meeting today, Laura broke out with LEELOO DALLAS MULTIPASS! And that was just the beginning of me giggling for no good reason all day.
Whilst browsing Jpopsuki today, I happened upon a music video of a Korean boy band covering a song by V6, you know, the Japanese boy band. It's good, I like it. It's in a different key, so it's... brighter. Here, compare for yourself!
And now it's 12:30 and I have to go to bed. Tomorrow I have a class at 8:30, then I go to the hospital for my left leg (which is getting quite better I think), and then back home for lunch and then to school for a class and then to Shogawa for stupid pointless meeting. Thursday I have three classes. Friday I have the day off, but I'll be going to the far-off exotic locale of... the hospital, this time about my right leg, since I can't stand for any decent amount of time without it burning like fire. It even kept me from sleeping a couple nights (but i think it's stopped doing that)(look at me jinx myself twice in one post). Hopefully it's nothing serious, and just a pinched nerve that will self-correct by itself (or with minimal steroid injections, for example).

Yesterday, I downloaded the music video for the SMAP song "Arigatou", which I kind of like. I'd never seen the video, so I figured it'd probably be good too. Well, it's certainly SOMETHING, but I'm not sure if good is the right word. There's like, the members of SMAP as Lego men, who go to the moon, and take a bunch of ants with them, so that the ants (who can apparently survive on the moon no problem) can grow a bunch of plants on the moon (which apparently works just fine), in the shape of GIANT letters, so that, from the earth, the moon would become a giant advertisement for SMAP.
