The biggest, oldest tree in town.

I can haz resentment?

Though full bloom in Takaoka isn't for almost two weeks, this tree in a back alley in Tonami is in nearly full bloom.

While minding my own business on the former back alley, I became aware of birds flitting around in a nearby tree.  When I saw their green colouring, I realized I'd found some of the shy uguisu, the birds you hear but rarely see.  I only had my 50mm lens, though, and they were at the very top of the tall tree.  This is a crop of a tiny tiny portion of a 12MP image.  I'm still quite happy with it. :)

At the end of a long alley, I was greeted by this.

Behold, I continue to take cliche pictures of flowers. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE, AND PPL TEND TO TAKE PICTURES OF THINGS THEY HAVE CLOSE BY YES?

He came out for dinner and drinks with me.  Gave me a cute present. We went to another bar afterwards for more drinking.  He slept on a futon on my floor because there were no more trains and he couldn't drive. He snores, but not too loudly. I look forward to drinking with him again.

When perusing the variety of discount White Day chocolates the week after white day, I came across this. It is a poo. Inside the poo are gummi poos. When you are finished, there is a slot on the back you can cut off to make a nice little poo bank. Poo.

I thought I heard a noise. But we're safe here in Umbrella Corp. Employee Housing, aren't we? Wait, Jill, where are you going?

My b-day present from skylarkza.  It's a happiness (hapenis?) charm from the penis festival in Nagoya.  Nearly everything a boy could ask for!

Any suggestions for what to shoot this weekend, what with it being rainy every day?

Spring is here, or nearly. Plum blossoms (which i didn't take a pic of, for no good reason) have started to bloom at school, 2-3 weeks earlier than usual.  Good times.

Today, in Japan, is "Mini Day" (ミニの日), because 3 2 sounds like mi ni.  So many "special days" are just horrible puns, here... Anyway, it's a day to enjoy one's miniatures, so I did.

Overexposed Fran is overexposed.

I came home from work, and found this plushy pig, sitting on a beam above my mail box.  It's clearly been treated very badly, possibly floated into town through the irrigation ditches.  It's a shame, because it's kind of cute. :}

This was some sort of dodgy theme restaurant. This was actually a drink that came in a horrendous head. Then Spiff decided to make out with it.

The Shonan beaches are great, as I expected they would be.
We went for Chinese food in Kamakura, even though we were planning to go for Chinese in Yokohama for supper, just because it was close and open and we didn't have to walk any further.

It's a pretty stereotypical image, but it's nice.

I filled my memory card, so when i got back to Tokyo, I made a stop in Akihabara to buy a new one. Everything besides the Labi/Yamada Denki was closed, but this guy was against a hoarding at the station, and that was pretty bizarre.

I was trying to get a picture of the Rainbow Bridge, when a couple came and asked me to take their picture for them. Then they offered to return the favour, but had a heck of a time. Tried it like 15 times, even though this was the first pic, and it was fine. (shrug)

Oh Tokyo, you silly, silly place.

I bought an awesome hat, but it's super nerdy. I don't care though. :)

I like cute stuffed things, cuz that's just how I am.  I saw the Yoshi, and wasn't going to get it, but then I couldn't NOT get him.  Then I saw this Domo-kun, and I've wanted one forever, so I finally bought it.  There were lots of types, but this was the only one with the fuzzy curly hair.

Gackt was the only celebrity tested who could tell the difference between cheap beef and high-end Miyazaki beef.  During the taste test, blindfolds were necessary.

This goddamned thing, the hole in the guitar isn't big enough for the peg on her hand that holds it in place, AND her goddamned skirt broke off (but it's easily fixable with some super glue).

This is the only thing I actually wanted to buy, but then when I tried to change his hands, the default hands all broke when I pulled them out. Asshole poorly manufactured shit.  It means he can't facepalm quite right anymore because his default hands were his facepalm hands :<  He can still sort of facepalm though.

Coke Zero is running a Coke Zero Zero 7/Quantum of Solace promotion, and I won a USB drive thingie through it. It's branded, and has a fingerprint reader, for BONDO, JEIMUZU BONDO level security. ._.

I saved up Lawson points to get this blanket! Too bad it's only like, a ft square. :<  I was misled!

This pizza is actually inferior to one I made later in the week, which had better mushrooms, and better crust, and better sauce, and was bascially just better. This one was still pretty good tho~
